The Launch at Hingham Shipyard. The Launch is ideally located about 30 minutes south of Boston and the same distance north of Cape Cod. It's easily accessible from all major South Shore roadways, plus the MBTA water shuttle docks right on the premises and the new Greenbush Commuter Rail line stops in town.
There are many ways to get to the Hingham Eastern Mountain Sports Store and directions can be confusing at times. The new store is located off of Route 3a in Hingham at THE LAUNCH. I always find it best to google or mapquest directions from my exact location.
NOTE: We will be moving from our old location at Hingham Eastern Mountain Sports Anchor Plaza 211 Lincoln St. Hingham, MA 02043 in the spring of 2010 to this new location!
Hingham Harbor kayak launch site is easily located by traveling 1 mile east on Route 3a (left out of the Launch shopping area) until you see the 2 large parking lots on your left before the rotary.
