Bassetts Island Tour

  • 3 hour tour
  • Fantastic beaches
  • Cape side of Buzzards Bay
  • Coastal paddle
  • Great for families

  • On this three hour paddle we’ll be in calm and protected waters exploring one of the largest harbors on the east side of Buzzards Bay. We start out by passing large waterfront summer homes and marinas sheltering million dollar yachts. Bassett’s Island shelters Pocasset Harbor and the homes on the shoreline from southeast winds and storms, while the more exposed south leg of the island is public land with a great beach for a shore break and quick summer swim. The beach faces out into Buzzards Bay and from it we see ships traveling from Boston to New York.
