Green and Graves Tour

  • Full day trip
  • Open water paddle
  • Historic Fort on George's Island
  • Paddle Boston Lighthouse
  • Hull Windmill
  • Lovell Island
  • Boston Skyline
  • For more experienced paddlers

  • Great trip for more experienced paddlers! Our trip begins inside Hull’s gut across from the High Schoola and we navigate our way out towards the Brewster Islands. We begin to see the rugged open water landscape that looks more like Maine than Boston. After paddling past the Boston Light we set up our crossing to the Graves. The harbor islands were primarily used for navigation and shelter as boats traveled into the busy harbor of Boston. It’s evident that a lot of work went into making the lighthouse on graves visible to help the incoming ships navigate the harbor.
