  • Welcome to the charming “City by the Sea.” One of America’s oldest cities, Newport is rich in colonial architecture and history. Appreciate the spirit of this city with us, on the water, as we guide you through its spectacular waterfront on the way to Rose Island Lighthouse. This paddle starts at Kings Beach Park and winds around downtown Newport going wherever Mother Nature guides us. Paddle up to the Newport Lighthouse that overlooks the Newport Bridge, an active lighthouse that guided mariners as far back as the 1800’s. Our journey continues with scenic views of Rose Island, Jamestown, Hammersmith Farm, and Fort Adams. Pack a lunch and water, as we will break midday. Kayak, paddle and PFD's are provided.
